Over the years, I’ve had the joy of working with a wonderfully diverse range of children and families, including those in early intervention, autism, Down syndrome, AAC, and bilingual intervention. I have a special love for early intervention and the assessment process, discovering each child’s strengths, identifying their needs, and creating meaningful, individualized plans that support their development. One of my greatest passions is partnering with families and helping them feel confident, supported, and empowered with the tools that foster their child’s growth and success.

Speech Language Pathology Assistant
Natalie Garcia
My name is Natalie Garcia, and I am an SLPA. I graduated from Cal State University, Fullerton with a degree in Communicative Disorders, where I had wonderful opportunities to learn from and grow alongside experienced professionals.
My passion for this field began at home watching my brother, who was born with a cleft lip and palate, work with his SLP for many years. Seeing the progress he made and the supportive relationship he built with his SLP showed me firsthand that speech therapy is more than just a job, it is about connection, growth, and empowering others to find their voice.
For the past five years, I have worked as a special education paraprofessional, which has been an incredible learning experience. My students have taught me so much about different modes of communication and the importance of relationship building.
In the future, I hope to further my education, but for now, my goal is to learn as much as I can from professionals and from the children I have the privilege to work with, helping them develop their voices and reach their full potential.
